From a pastoral grazing family in far-west NSW, Bill was educated in Sydney at college and university. Although mainly known for his long career in personal injury compensation with several prominent plaintiff law firms in Sydney, his diverse commercial experience has taken him from Sydney to Brisbane, the Gold Coast, Hong Kong and Melbourne and his expertise spans international property, wholesale mortgages, retail franchises, personal injury compensation litigation and corporate and personal insolvency.
Beyond his professional commercial experience, Bill kept a strong connection with his old college and for many years, he held senior positions on their Old Boys Executive Committee and served as their Honorary Solicitor.

For over 40 years Colin has provided commercial advice to a range of businesses and ventures which not only include accountancy firms and law practices but also to large corporations including television networks, and international sporting events.
From 1984 to 1990, he was Corporate Counsel and head of Legal & Business for Polygram Australia (now Universal Music), overseeing the Group’s legal work for the recording, home video and publishing divisions. This work included managing complex deal negotiations with groups such as the TV and radio industries.
Colin then became co-partner in Simpsons Solicitors, where amongst other areas he specialised in commercial transaction law. Clients included The Wiggles, Polygram Records (now Universal Music Group), Warner Music Publishing and MCA Music Publishing. In 1998 he sold his half of the practice to establish a specialist commercial advice consultancy.
Colin has also been a part time law lecturer in graduate degree courses, teaching commercial and business management subjects including intellectual property law, media law, cross-border money management and venture structuring.
In addition Colin was a sitting Member on the Ethics Committee for the Law Society of New South Wales.

Jaimee has a background in law and business and was admitted as a legal practitioner by the Law Society of NSW in 2004. She went on to excel in Sales and Customer Management roles in both the telecommunications and hospitality industries.

Since 2012 Jaimee has used her experience to further her career in Corporate Administration, initially as Executive Assistant to the CEO of an industry leader in the Environmental Sector. In 2014 Jaimee branched out on her own, contracting to various companies who required assistance and restructuring in the Administration and Operations space.
She has extensive experience in assisting companies with restructuring and financial matters including mortgages and dealing with banks and other lending institutions. In 2017 she began consulting to the Aurum Pacific Group and has acted as key liaison in the areas of accounting, legal, tenement management and partner relations since 2018.
Jaimee holds degrees in Bachelor of Laws (Hons) and Bachelor of International Business from Bond University.
Jaimee joined EGR Law in 2023 to provide a vital collaborative key role with Gold Coast and Brisbane based clients.
